| A very rare find! |
While going through the attic of my grandparents house, my father found this old
hat that my grandfather used to wear when he was a guide at "Fishing Bridge"
on Yellowstone lake. These pictures are from about 1938. So that would make
the hat about 70 years old. My father asked me if I would like the hat and I said
yes. Weeks later after receiving the hat in the mail, I was wearing it and noticed
some fishing line hanging down in front of my face. I looked in behind the sweat
band on the hat and found several dry flies. They must have been there for that
70 years also waiting to be found.
I plan to wear the hat this year as I venture forth on the deck of "Just Keep
Fishing" and see what luck my grandfather has left with the hat!
